From December 2 to 13, Madrid is the headquarters of the Climate Summit, a multilateral space of the United Nations for a climate action. Within this context, Alastria is offering the opportunity to all the partners to act by joining the near 200 countries that will be present, representing companies, cities, regions, investors, civil society, youth, indigenous during this Summit.
As you know during 2019, within Alastria, we have organized with our partners different activities to highlight the contribution of the blockchain in the design of solutions aimed to meet the 17 SDGs, i.e: the ITU plenary meeting in April, the Blockchain Challenge ODS 5 with WStartupC and UNIR in September, and the Global Blockchain Challenge in the framework of the Convergence Congress in Malaga last November, where we had 22 teams participating to ideate, prototype and communicate future projects within the framework of the 17 SDGs.
This time we work for SDG 13 through the initiative of our partner Eurofiling and XBRL Spain with the project “Green open filing metric ecosystem”. This project aims to create a climate change report model for companies and entities, with structured data and capable of using any metric, open, so that it can be used free of charge by any jurisdiction and oriented to publication on the internet. We know that Blockchain is a key tool for the reliable, secure and decentralized registration necessary for this report.
For this reason, we invite you to participate in the workshop on December 9, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the Madrid Registrar’s College (c / Diego de León 21).
Alastria has organized this workshop together with Eurofiling & XBRL Sapin and with the participation of the Registrator’s Association, experts such as Stefan Junestrand, WStartupC, Worldline and ClimateTrade, and others of our in-depth knowledgeable partners on this subject.
Join this initiative, by presenting a solution that you have ideated, and/or in the technical discussion and/or in collaborative work to define indicators, lines of work and action plan for this taxonomy and the contribution of blockchain in its design.
The conclusions of the workshop will be presented at the plenary session at COP25, in the Green Zone, from 4:15 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., on December 9 at IFEMA. You can also participate as an assistant to this presentation / debate.
